Product Description

Did you know that the word 'Tavla' means table in Ancient Arawak' Archeologists discovered that this ancient tribe harvested thin strips of wood from the rare Veneer Tree (Veneerifus Treeus) and formed some of the first dining tables known to man. O.K., so we're making that up. But even a little white lie can't detract from the true beauty of our Tavla Dining Table. A crisp, clean veneer top is anchored by a nearly indestructible steel frame and leg support. The table will look equally good in your dining room or in the office. It is magnificently simple and simply magnificent.

Product Description

Sure, you could get one of those cavernous leafed tables with seating for 22, but what's the point? Better to tend to your sense of style and fashion than to keep a table around that's only used twice a year. This table fills the bill nicely. Big enough to seat a dinner party but small enough that two can hold hands across it during an intimate dinner, our glass-topped dining table is an exercise in simple elegance. With this dining table in your home, you'll look forward to every meal together, large or small.

Product Description

Seat six with plenty of space to spread out for a multi course extravaganza with this well crafted and superbly built table. The silky smooth dark top is almost like glass, creating a striking reflection that plays with the light from above and from the side. The sturdy stainless steel legs are small but strong, so you don't have to worry about your guests sacrificing comfort for an overly verbose, bulbous carved leg. Instead, they have plenty of room to spread out as they enjoy the spread before them. Rarely has a table been so functional yet so attractive.

Product Description

Dining room tables have always been problematic. For daily use, a small table fills the bill well for most families. But it is woefully inadequate when entertaining or having a holiday feast. One option is to lug in the painfully heavy leaves and jostle them into the table's mechanism. This table offers a much more salient approach. The leaf installs effortlessly, allowing you to quickly scale the table to match the occasion.

Product Description

Whether you're planning a holiday extravaganza, a sumptuous buffet or a sit down gourmet meal, space is always at a premium. Who hasn't created a multi course culinary masterpiece, only to find there isn't enough table space? This extendable table is here for you. Running out of room for food and/or guests? Simply pull out the extension and voila – all the space you need for both.

Asian Dining Rooms Designs

A custom piece of glass tops a Saarinen tulip table base framed by a curvaceous silk-velvet settee. A wood bench stands in place of a conventional dining set in the dining area. Timber bamboo, lustrous overscaled Vietnamese pottery, a trio of sparkling Thai-inspired mirrors and about a dozen candles interspersed with smooth dark stones enhance the dining area's mature appeal.

The built-in banquette makes this spot a favorite place for everyday uses or large gatherings. Mohair and leather are great options for seating because they're long-lasting even with heavy use. The Tibetan scroll painting is surrounded by a Baroque-style mirror frame, giving it an eclectic look. Tortoise vases, dried hydrangeas, large candelabras and an oversized African weave pillow complete the room.

The bold, red color and use of leather in this Asian-style breakfast nook give it a unique look.

Candles provide an inexpensive touch of light that add just the right aura to any space. Create sparkle in a dining room by incorporating mirrored or glass elements. Adding the color red to any room or space adds drama and makes a bold statement.

A mixture of honey maple and black give this breakfast table a unique look. The centerpiece lends modern, organic style among the upholstered dining chairs.

Natural elegance resounds throughout this Asian-influenced dining room/living room combo. This design exudes peace and serenity while maintaining a modern sense of elegance.

The dining room, flooded with sunlight, is designed to accommodate casual family mealtime as well as entertaining. Comfortable seating and colorful artwork set the stage.

Glicées, reminiscent of midcentury modern wallpaper, add drama and color in the dining room.

Windows provide a view of the side yard and landscaping details. “You’ve got this great indoor/outdoor relationship working,” says Infinity Home Collection’s general manager, David Steinke. “And that’s how people tend to entertain here.”

A loop rug in a soft acorn shade anchors the space.

Crisp white linen drapes, hung at the very top of walls, visually heighten the dining room and provide an additional layer of insulation during Denver’s winter months.

Modern Dining Rooms Ideas 2011 Designers By " HGTV "

Symmetrical design and elegant lines convey formality in this modern dining room. Photo by Mayer Bowden Photography.

Stone and columns dress up this simple square dining room. The contemporary furniture and lighting are in hues of orange and red, making the space seem decadent and inviting. Bon appetit!

This room is set apart by its bold artwork and colorfully vibrant floral. These bright colors are able to pop with the backdrop of cool white chairs and ebony furnishings and flooring. The lighting is also light and fresh with oversized shades and a mod, urban look.Design Tip: The Wow factor in this room is not just from the artwork and flowers, but also the important contrast in dark-white colors on the chairs, walls and baseboards.

The spiral chandelier echoes the round shape of the dining table in this dining room. Decorative elements like the glass sculptures and the round plant pots also contain round shapes. Repetition is a way to create a unified space.

The dark wooden dining room set instantly attracts the eye, and the metallic light fixture adds a modern touch while the beautiful pebbles inserted below the table’s glass top bring the outdoors in.

The dining room reveals the continuation of the quality details like the chandelier featured in this shot. Balancing the size of the dining set and the pattern of the wallpaper in the dining area achieves a look of unexpected grandness.

Our goal for this project was to transform a cold yet architecturally significant space into a warm, inviting home featuring artistic, high-end furniture, rugs and lighting. All pieces were to be authentic, unique and interesting, yet very comfortable.

This large round dining table is ideal for a dinner party or gathering. The Tortuga Dining Table was custom designed by SPI with a CaesarStone top and an ebonized wood base.

Candice Olson Decorating Ideas 2011 , Kitchen , Dining room , Bathroom , Bedroom , Living room

Can't you just picture coming downstairs to the smell of coffee in your chic kitchen? Even though it isn't huge the space is really used well. I love the glass door cabinets and dark counter-tops. The fridge gives it a sleek look but the little touches like the green stools and cute lamp keep it more traditional and warm. The great thing about these types of designs is they look beautiful but it's nothing the average person couldn't do with a little elbow grease.

This dining room is a dream! Soft powdered blues and cremes are so serene and calming. It would be lovely to have a fireplace in your dining room to roar while you have your family dinners. The detail on the chairs is phenomenal as well. It's a solid light blue on the seat but the back has a pretty pattern upholstered on it and the rug below matches perfectly with the whole scene. Bon appetite!

I think this bathroom would be like having your very own spa in your house. Lots of dark finishes and stone looking tiles with a large soaker tub make it feel classic and comfortable. I think the floating counter is a really interesting look and the white coral accessory is the perfect touch. Give me my glass of wine and dim the lights because I'm ready for a soak!

This massive bedroom is the size of my entire apartment! It's so warm and inviting and the vaulted ceiling gives it a unique architectural touch that draws the eye. A bedroom is your sanctuary so it should be a representation of you and whatever makes you comfortable. A fireplace in the bedroom is so romantic and a chaise always looks like a luxurious place to flop down with a good book. I would love to retire to this paradise every night.

This is a basement hang out Candice did on a more recent episode and I am digging everything about it. It's such a warm colour pallet but it's practical at the same time. One thing that always drives me crazy is when designers fill a room with white furniture. Of course it looks beautiful but will it after your dark furred kitty has rolled around on it and the kids have spilled their juice or the dust settles and it just looks grubby? A dark couch helps you to feel less neurotic about spills and messes. The recessed lighting really works well here with a few lamps and sconces and the neutral rug ties everything together. Pop in your favorite movie and cuddle up with the ones you love!
